In this series, we visit businesses, hot spots, and fun places around the community, telling the story with photographs.

For the latest Kosciusko Photo Tour, Kosciusko Attala Partnership CEO Kel McDowell visited Dakota Rose Boutique. Located on the historic Kosciusko Court Square, Dakota Rose Boutique boasts the “latest trends in ladies clothing and accessories. Fun, Fashionable, Fabulous!” As a kicker on this visit, DRB was celebrating its 2nd anniversary with several special guests, including: renowned Delta artist Karl Wagner, representatives from Dirt Road Traditions, the crew from Kicks96 (broadcasting live!), and Kosciusko Mayor Jimmy Cockroft.

OK, this photo wasn’t from the day of my tour. But that dog house in the window was featured in DRB’s Man Card commercial.

When approaching the store, I immediately see Jeff Stewart, host of Kicks96’s “Morning House Party,” interviewing Susan and Noelle of DRB.

And right in the front window of the store is Karl Wagner working on a painting of the Attala County Courthouse!

And I participated in one of them! Hanged my bulldog painting in my office.
And that concludes our latest photo tour, until next time..
