This fall, a dynamic team is opening a floral shop that will further beautify Kosciusko.
Gods Corner Gardner, led by Steve Deason, the owner and operator of Deason Wholesale Inc, will open September 23. Steve is a lifelong resident of Kosciusko. Deason Wholesale, established in 1995, has been serving customers’ floral needs — including green plants, blooming plants, and holiday flowers — throughout Mississippi, plus parts of Alabama and Arkansas.
Steve is committed to opening a quality business, an expansion of Deason Wholesale, to provide the citizens of Kosciusko and Attala County a one-stop-shop for all of one’s floral needs. Gods Corner Gardner services include arrangements for holidays, parties, funerals, home decorations for all occasions, gifts, weddings, and outdoor plants.
Steve is happy to have Glenn Deason as part of the Deason Wholesale, Inc. team, which includes Gods Corner Gardner. Glenn has been with Deason Wholesale since November 2015.
A new member has been added to the team. Danny Kelly will manage Gods Corner Gardner. He comes with thirty years of design experience in the floral industry. Previously owner/operator of a floral shop in Greenwood, Danny brings innovative ideas to the area. He enjoys meeting customers and creating beautiful floral/plant designs. Danny explains that the most important thing is to create something that elates the customer and suits his/her unique tastes, “something special.” He is looking forward to meeting and making new friends in Kosciusko.
Business hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm, and Saturday, 9am to 12pm. All are invited — past, current, and prospective customers — to come by and see what the store has to offer. The shop will always be available for families needing funeral floral consultation.
Grand Opening is Friday 9/23 and Saturday 9/24 at 8am. A complimentary flower will be given to the first 100 customers (limit one per family). Take a tour of the newest flower shop in town and join for refreshments!
