Barnes Paper & Janitorial Supply Finds Home in Kosciusko

Clif Barnes and his father Eddie have been in business together since 2003.

“We’re a family-owned business,” said Eddie. “A father, two sons, and their families.”

Armed with a proven track record of customer service with Barnes Paper & Janitorial Supply, Clif and Eddie joined another father-son duo, Butch Bingham and his son Daniel, to open a Kosciusko location. This new venue now compliments their existing facilities in Greenwood and Clarksdale. (more…)

Natural gas expansion: Skinner serves as operations supervisor for Kosciusko branch

Bringing additional natural gas service to Kosciusko and Attala County is bringing economic development as the result of the Attala Industrial Park being one of the first beneficiaries of the commission-approved fund of $2.1 million.

Atmos Energy on Veterans Memorial Drive, hosted a groundbreaking last summer as the announcement was  made of the proposed gas line that will ensure an adequate gas supply for area businesses and industries. (more…)

During my time in Kosciusko and Attala County, I have been delighted and impressed by a plethora of great qualities on display by the members of our community.

Spurred by an immense pride in their community and a remarkable sincerity, so many parties and individuals regularly work together in pursuit of enhancing the place they choose to call home.
